Clicking the PayPal button or link forces a new browser window to open; while you are on the PayPal site you are no longer in the same browser window-set that you are viewing now.
When you have completed your business with PayPal, you will usually come to our thank-you page if your transaction was successful, or our apology page, if it was not. In some circumstances, you will get a "Page not Found" or similar error message. Either way, you will have finished your business with PayPal and you don't need their browser window any longer; close it to return to this window.
When a browser window does not include a 'close' button or link, you may close the browser window by clicking the small X at the top right outside corner of the browser. Caution: sometimes you can see more than one browser window; make sure you are clicking the X for the window you wish to close!
